recent life saving product!

Hello guys!

Ugh, lately it's been so so busy; uni stuff, parties + nights out, cheerleading and tons more... so I hate to admit I've not been looking my best :( With all the mayhem I've been finding it hard to squeeze in time in the morning to give my hair a good wash so I've been jumping in and out the shower in the mornings (using my Soap and Glory shower cap of course ;) ) and just having to dash out with slightly limp hair.

So! I decided to rake about in my "hair" drawer and found my life saver - Batiste Dry Shampoo! Believe me, I've tried literally tons of dry shampoos and none of them compare to this bad boy. Last year when I went to T in the Park (Scotland's biggest music festival, and imo one of the best in Britain - for those of you outside the UK) I brought two dry shampoo's for camping - Batiste, and one by Lee Stafford.

I LOVE Lee Stafford products, especially when I had blonde hair - but I have to confess the dry shampoo was totally useless! And expensive for what it was. Batiste is super cheap, smells AMAAAAAAAZING whatever one you use (tropical, original or blush) and highly effective. If you have darker hair, it IS slightly harder to get rid of the white powder, but its not a major hassle - if you have BLONDE hair, which I did at T in the Park, I noticed it was HIGHLY effective at disguising dark roots as well. All in all, a brilliant, cost effective product!

LOVE IT!

argh! my EYELASHES :(

Hello followers!

The most horrifying thing happened to me the other day! One of the things I always get complemented on is the length of my eyelashes, and people often ask if they're fake! WELL I was looking about in my drawers and I found a pair of eyelash curlers, that I hadn't used in absolute ages and I couldnt remember why...

SO before I left - for a DATE - I decided to curl my eyelashes. When I finished, I remembered exactly WHY I hadn't used them!! They SNAPPED off the ends of my corner eyelashes. I tried so hard not to cry. It looks so obvious as well and they're like little stumps! Now I've been slathering on vaseline to try and condition them, and tempt them into growing back, because I know they will - it's happened before - it'll just take a while :( until then followers... I am sad :(

Has this happened to anyone else? Or is it just me?!

AMAZING facepainter woman! LOL

Hey dolls!

Ahhh - on Thursday night, me, Lisa and Robyn decided to hit Octopussy @ The Picture House (in edinburgh of course!) and it was super brill! Bouncy castles, and even a hot tub! BUT while we were dancing we noticed this woman doing facepainting so we got in line.

TBH when I saw the woman I wasn't so sure haha! She didn't look as if she was into that sort of thing- sort of scruffy - but anyway! I sat in the chair and I said "just give me anything with love hearts please" and she started tapping away on my face. It totally felt like she wasn't even doing anything but the design was just SO pretty I had to share it with you guys, and to top it off, only cost me £2!

Me posing a bit drunk ^^ sick picture but look at the design!

Lisa got a butterfly which was also pretty sweet ! (: robyn was such a looooser she didnt get one :( but honestly. If you ever find yourself in edinburgh, find this woman!

another new love!

Hey again... I'm on a roll today ;)

OKAY so I heard some hype around Barry M lately and if you read my posts you know my obsession with the lip paints! So when I heard about blusher I got excited. When in town with my friend Lisa (La Bonne Vie) we noticed them and went CRAZY!

The shades are VERY bright but I love that! Because of my pale skin, I chose the lightest - Pink Orchid...bearing in mind its still extremely bright! Lisa chose the next shade up.

We tested them on a night out and my oh my! Beaaaaaaautiful colours! They go on nice and smooth but it comes with a little brush...DONT use it. Please! Its a cheap and wiry brush that will give you nothing but trouble so do yourself a favour and use a soft, full blusher brush.

A few shades were running out so I think there's quite a following so if you fancy trying it, I suggest you move quickly before they're all gone ! (:

below is a picture of that night we tested the blusher (: ignore the extreme tan! haha i used the wrong shade ;)

Let me know your opinion (:

raveraverave!

Hello my lovely followers !

Im SO majorly sorry I haven't updated this in forever, uni has been actually killing me with a lot of work and I've just been so busy.

But in all the hecticness I've rediscovered my love for a long-lost brand haha. AVON ! I was flicking through the book and realised my nails were in a sorry state! They used to be long but they were so chipped and brittle I filed them down to start again. I decided to buy Avon's Strong Results nail treatment/polish thing, £6 GBP I think?

Anyway the deal is you've to use it 1-2 times daily for a week. So far I've been using it more, just because when I get something new, I use it to death haha and actually my nails have not only got a lot stronger and less ridged, BUT they've grown so much in just a week!

It smells a bit funny and I'm not over enthusiastic about the brush either - but this is a fantastic, and cheap, addition to anyone's make up kit.

Let me know what you think loves!
